Welcome to Smokey Mountain Doxies
We are a small home-based breeder in Newport, Tennessee. We love our doxies and the puppies we raise. We have longhair, shorthair and wirehair miniature Dachshunds in a variety of colors from creams to blues to wild boar and patterns such as dapple, piebald and brindle. Our doxies are loved and raised inside our home as part of our family. We take great care to ensure all our adult dogs and puppies are healthy and full of life.
We have five large fenced in play yards for them to get out in the sun to run and have fun playing. We also have smaller runs for breeding purposes. In the summer the doxies are in and out at their leisure. Winter, they spend most of their time indoors because of the cold. Everyone comes in at night and goes to their own kennel where they are fed separately and can have a safe night’s sleep. None are left outside overnight.
